We are building towards becoming one of the few SCA Authorised Training Centres (ATC) in western India, where you can formally study and sit SCA examinations without travelling to Mumbai or Bangalore.

What is SCA Certification?
The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) is the world's largest coffee trade association. Its certification framework is the globally recognised standard for coffee professionals, accepted by employers in the UAE, UK, Australia, Canada, and across Europe.
An SCA certificate doesn't just prove you can make coffee. It proves you understand the science, the craft, and the business of specialty coffee at a level that employers worldwide recognise.

Coffee Board of India Partnership
We are in active dialogue with the Coffee Board of India to explore an authorised training partnership in Gujarat. A Coffee Board affiliation would make The Barista School one of the few government-recognised coffee training institutions in western India.
